sparkly tree...

This weekend I was working on a couple of cards.  I used the Swirly Maple stamp from the Sparkle N Sprinkle (SNS) set Autumn Swirl SS 410, stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa and Memento Tangelo.  I wa susing one of those stamping gear sets where you can make a shape in a circle, so used the Leaf Swirl stamp to stamp in a circle around the tree.  Dabbed some Versamark ink on the tree and added SNS Sparkle embossing powder EP 107 to make the tree sparkly - the photo doesn't show the sparkly but it is real pretty in person.  Added a leaf from the Fall Leaves SS 4413 set and then punched a border strip and threaded a striped ribon through it.  Almost gives a plaid look, since the paper was striped also.

Great use of the stamping gear, Cheryl! Looks amazing. I really like the colors in the swirly maple tree - looks lovely with the maple leave up close. Clever card!
