Autumn has arrived...

The air is finally starting to feel a little cool which means autumn has come to the Carolinas.
I made this card using Sparkle N Sprinkle's set  "Fall Leaves - 441S".  I sprayed inks on white cardstock, when it was dry I then stamped the leaves with black Memento ink.  I also added a little glimmer inks spray, and Paprika (orange) flocking FL 105, for highlights on the leaves.  After cutting out the leaves, I used Spellbinder Petite Scallop Circle Large and Standard Circle large to make a "wreath form" out of brown cardstock.  Wrap a ribbon around the form, and attach to base paper.  Layered the leaves on top.  Cut out the verse and slightly larger green cardstock with Labels 4 and Labels 4 Small dies.  Added 3 decorative brads to the top right corner.  The shimmer and leaf colors look more intense in person, but the leaves are so lifelike, they were fun to play with!

Cake!

Here is a Sparkle n Sprinkle digi image from Michelle Perkett, "Bella the Baker".  Here is a scrapbook page I made using just the cake and words from the digi:

And here is a card I also made with the digital image:

and also used the cake on the inside of the card:

Hope you can see the glitter on all these projects, they are nice and sparkly in person!

My new cabinet for the craft room...

This is my new yellow Hemnes linen cabinet! And you thought Ikea quit making them in yellow.   Well actually they did.  I bought a red cabinet and painted it yellow.  It is so pretty.  Actually I think my yellow is nicer than the yellow one they made at Ikea a few years ago.  Time to fill it up with fabric and sewing items...
